Larry,
You've got a real mystery there. Never heard of a 656 in an outfit. Same with the 802. I"m pretty fluent up till 1927. You'll have to find Billy & Ruth catalogs. You could try the TCA Library. They may have an insight or check their B & R catalogs for the set number and contents if they have any.

I have a Macy set from 1940, #7135WC. It includes a Gunmetal 249 loco with gunmetal diecast coal tender and freights include a dark orange 2656 stock car. I don't have, but believe there is a 1940 uncataloged set with a 229 that includes the 813 tuscan stock car.

I have always wondered if there is a Lionel set that has a refrigerator car in it.
