Here's a new Lionel Lines stamp WITHOUT "Made in USA" . It appears to have different spacing than the other version so maybe it's not just a broken stamp.

 

That's on  820e1 Illinois Central 65784 light orange sides and roof, type 1 frame, 2 lines data – C. 20000 W. 30000, 820 to left and LL to right on end. NOTE - this car has no "Made in USA" line on end stamp.

The car next to it is 820h1 Illinois Central 65784 darker orange sides and roof, type two frame, 2 lines data – C. 20000 W. 10000, 820 to left and LL to right on end, gold corp stamp on bottom.

There's an 801 caboose out there that doesn't have MADE IN U.S.A. on the end, either.
