Standard gauge & O gauge track?
« on: January 01, 2021, 05:11:36 AM »
I just saw a video of a guy that has track that is Standard Gauge & O Gauge. I don’t know if he made it or bought but I was really blown away. Plus he has a super layout of Lionel & Marx!

Check this out? He can run O gauge or Standard gauge on the same track.

I saw, somewhere, an article on how to make up this track.
Saves room that is for sure.

I worked with a man in New Orleans that built a huge layout in his attic. Did a super good job on construction. The layout was beautiful. Must have 6 to 8 get mainlines. He use gargraves track. The track didn’t hold up well to use. In some of his curves the inside of the outside rail was worn through? The track looked like aluminum to me?

That does happen to Gargraves track. The Scottsdale AZ club had that problem with their layout. It took decades of them running the trains daily to do it though.
